Frequently Asked Questions
DataRavn uses recurring billing based on the plan you select. Automatic charges only occur if you have explicitly enabled recurring payments in your billing setup. There are no unexpected or hidden charges outside of your chosen plan.
No. DataRavn does not require long-term contracts or setup fees. You pay for the plan you choose and can upgrade as your SaaS backup needs grow.
You can upgrade your plan at any time: Free→ Standard Standard → Gold Gold → Enterprise Upgrades are applied without data loss or reconfiguration of existing backups.
Downgrading to a lower plan is not currently supported. If your requirements change, we recommend reviewing the available plans carefully before upgrading.
You can cancel your subscription from your account settings in the DataRavn portal. Once cancelled, active backups will be paused according to your billing period.
You can switch between monthly and annual billing directly from the Payment & Billing section in your DataRavn account. Annual billing offers a discounted rate compared to monthly billing.
Custom features, additional integrations, or advanced requirements are available under the Enterprise plan only. In these cases, we set up a call with your team to understand the scope and price the solution based on the level of customization required.
When the free trial ends, backups are paused. No automatic upgrade or charge is applied unless you actively select and confirm a paid plan.
No. Each DataRavn plan includes a defined set of features and limits. If you need capabilities beyond your current plan, you’ll need to upgrade to the appropriate tier or Enterprise plan.
No. The Standard plan has fixed limits. If you need more storage, users, or integrations, you’ll need to upgrade to the plan that best fits your requirements.
If you exceed your plan limits, backups will be paused. The DataRavn team will notify you and recommend the most suitable plan upgrade to resume backups safely.
Yes. You can move from Free to Standard, Gold, and Enterprise without losing existing backup data. All upgrades preserve your data and backup history.
